Register for a Preview Days event.

Meet other prospective freshmen, sit in a college class, see the town of Lincoln and participate in Union's weekend activities.  A weekend schedule is e-mailed after registration. The first Preview Days event is check-in on Thursday from 2-3 p.m. Campus tour and financial aid presentation directly follow check-in. Departure is any time on Sunday (hot breakfast is served 10 a.m.). Register for a Preview Days.

If those dates don’t work, we can schedule a personalized visit. You’ll meet with an admissions and financial aid advisor, talk to academic advisors and get a tour of campus. We are open for visits Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A typical personalized visit takes between three and four hours. Schedule a personalized visit.

You may prefer a day visit. Appointments usually start at 9 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. and last three hours. We are closed Friday noon-Sunday.

Graduate students aren’t eligible for a free visit. If you’d like to learn more about visit our physician assistant studies program, contact the program or call 402.486.2527.

Free means free!

Stay and eat free—Hang out with us for two nights and three days free. We’ll cover food and lodging for the perspective student and one parent. Students will stay in the resident halls with a student host (bring a sleeping bag). Parents stay in our hotel-style guest rooms with private bathrooms and a queen sized bed.

Travel free—We’ll reimburse your travel costs up to $250. You must apply to Union, submit your transcripts and have a 2.5 or greater GPA to be eligible for the travel reimbursement.

Free airport pickup—Fly into Lincoln (20 minute drive) or Omaha (60 minute drive) and we'll pick you up.

Visiting in the summer

We recommend visiting during Preview Days because that is the best way to experience Union. Many of our professors and advisors are away from campus during the summer. If summer is the only time that works for you, we can schedule a personalized visit and give you the best experience possible. Click here to register for a personalized visit.
