Academic Background

  • Bachelor of Art in Religion, Pacific Union College
  • Master of Divinity, Andrews University

Professional Background:

Bob came to Union College from having pastored small and large churches in both rural and urban settings. He also served as an evangelist for seven years. He has been involved in evangelism in Russia and has also taught a class in biblical interpretation to pastors in Zambia.

Speaker’s Bureau:

Bob gives seminars in lay preaching, understanding the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation, and he also enjoys accepting Sabbath morning preaching appointments.

Personal Information:

Interests outside of the classroom include hiking, canoeing, bird-watching, gardening, traveling, learning about other cultures, and reading history. I have spent a year teaching in Hong Kong and taught an intensive class in biblical interpretation for pastors in Zambia. I have also been involved in two evangelism series in Russia. I enjoy new cultural experiences and the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in those cultures. I really get excited about teaching and helping students discover and refine their gifts and calling to ministry. It is wonderful to watch the Holy Spirit develop people into leaders for Jesus Christ. Union College is a great place to become a leader for God!
