Lesa came to Union College in 2014 to serve as a math professor at Union College. She has experience teaching mathematics at Emporia State University, Oklahoma City Community College, Butler State Community College, Illinois Institute of Technology, Flashpoint Academy, and several high schools/academies. She takes pride in her ability to communicate mathematical concepts in a way that makes it understandable to people.

Lesa is married to Frank Kean and she is a step mother of two and grandmother to three. She is very involved in praise music and Pathfinders.
