Ingrid DeVries joined the Union College family in December of 2021 as a Director of Campus Health and Mental Health Counselor. She has a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from FMU University in Sao Paulo, Brazil and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane University in Lincoln, NE. Ingrid previously worked at Bryan Health as a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and Alcohol and Drugs Counselor for the past five years. Ingrid DeVries has worked in the mental health and substance use field for more than thirteen years and has enjoyed working with culturally diverse individuals. She has a strength-based and personalized approach to each individual she works with, helping them to explore their potential. Ingrid has additional training in motivational therapy, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavioral therapy. Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
