Union College went into a lockdown for about 30 minutes on Monday afternoon, March 26, in response to a shooting incident that happened a few blocks from campus.
The lockdown was lifted at about 2:46 p.m. CDT at the recommendation of the Lincoln Police Department.
During a lockdown, all campus buildings are locked and students, employees and guests are required to stay inside the locked buildings.
We thank God for keeping Union’s campus safe, and our thoughts and prayers go out to those involved in the shooting.
