We’re looking forward to seeing you this Sunday on campus. Here are a few things you may need to know:
Move-in. Sunday, Jan. 10, is officially the day to move into your residence hall. If you’d like to move in before then, connect with the deans to make arrangements (Women’s dean: 402.486.2535; Men’s dean: 402.486.2534).
Parking. See where to park and where the Ortner Center is with the campus map.
Get registered, Sunday from 1-5 p.m. There are some items—like a photo for ID—that require you to be on campus to complete. Start by picking up your temporary ID and registration packet at the Ortner Center.
New Student Orientation is 5-8 p.m. in the Ortner Center’s Shawnee-Porter Room. Enjoy pizza, getting to know other students and learning about Union’s resources to help you succeed.
Finish the Final Clearance Checklist online. You can complete the majority of your registration by logging in to your Portal account and clicking on the “Final Clearance Checklist” today.
Extra hours for Enrollment and Student Financial Services. If you need help or want to get financial paperwork done early, our offices are open (Friday) Jan. 8 from 8:30 a.m.-Noon and (Sunday) Jan. 10 from 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Hope this helps! And remember, you can always use the acceptance checklist to make sure everything is ready before you arrive.
