Biography of Y.J. Moses

Teaches courses in education and psychology, supervises secondary student teachers, advises secondary education majors, and serves as liaison between the education unit and the Lincoln Public Schools for field experience and practicum placements.

Both of Y.J.'s children received their elementary, secondary, college and graduate education in SDA schools. In 1998 they graduated from Loma Linda University Medical School
Son Kenneth is serving as a physician in Loma Linda,
Y. J.'s wife Gnani completed B.A. in Office Administration at Spicer Memorial College, India; M.A. and Ph.D. in Business Education at Michigan State University. She taught in public schools in Michigan before moving to Union College in 1992. She taught one year at Union in the Business Department.
She suffered a massive stroke in 2004 that left her paralyzed on the right side. She was in a nursing home in Lincoln for nearly three years. In 2007, she was moved to Kalamzaoo, Michigan, because her grandchildren wanted to spend more time with their grandmother.
