Biography of Malcolm Gaskin
Classes taught: Individual and Corporate Taxation, Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, Business Ethics and Principles of Accounting.
I have a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Montana. I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) as well as a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Nebraska Society of CPAs.
Current positions held at Piedmont Park SDA church include Elder, Personal Ministries Director and Disciple Training Coordinator. I am also a member of the College View Academy (CVA) school board and the CVA cross country coach.
Before I began teaching at Union, I worked as a public accountant with a CPA firm doing both audit and tax work. I also worked in industry as an assistant controller for a privately-held health care supply company. Currently, I work part-time with a local CPA firm during tax season. This employment allows me to stay up-to-date on all the current changes in the field of taxation.
