The goal of the Library Liaison Program is to improve services for faculty members and to increase faculty participation in collection development and information literacy instruction. As a part of this program, a library liaison has been assigned to each academic program. This librarian will meet with each faculty member in the assigned programs at least once a year. During this meeting the librarian will share information about new resources in the faculty member's subject area, discuss library support of the faculty member's courses and research interests, provide instruction in the use of specific library resources, and answer any other questions.
Faculty members can assist the librarian by providing copies of their course syllabi. Faculty members should also feel free to contact their liaison librarian any time a question concerning library services or resources arises.
