Union College holds one service per year to recognize the hard work of our graduates. Some will complete their requirements in December, most in May, and some not until August. However, all this year’s seniors who meet the requirements will march on May 5, 2013, to receive their diploma.
During Sunday’s ceremony, Union College will confer 166 degrees to 155 students, including 25 students graduating with a master’s in physician assistant studies. Union’s class of 2013 represents seven countries and 33 states. Of the 28 different majors earned, nursing was the most popular with 35 graduates. Brittany Grannan of Des Moines, Iowa, will be the first student to graduate with Union’s newest major, biomedical science.
